He was predeceased by: his father W. Clarence Tompkins; his wife Carolyn Yvonne Perkins; his daughter Pamela Gaylord; and his brother Bill Tompkins. He is survived by: his daughter Angela Faith; his son-in-law Jerry Revels; his son Harold Wallace Tompkins II; his grandchildren, Meghan Parker (Bradley), Meredith Little (Zachary), Haley Smola (Anthony) and Hudson Gaylord; his great grandchildren, Alyssa Hardy, Emma, Callum Parker, Savannah Little, Eleanor and Ryland Smola; and his close friend Faye Lee.
