He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter "Sam" Blackmer and Carmie Blackmer (Hilliman). He is survived by : his wife Susan M. Blackmer; his children, Aaron Blackmer (Kelly), Andrea Nelson (Carlisle) and Amanda Hayden (Thomas Jason); his grandchildren, Riley Blackmer, Troy Blackmer, Olivia Hayden, Valerie Nelson and Thomas David Hayden; and his nephew Hal Hauber (Lisa).
