He is survived by: his children, Michael Watson (Leslie) of Tecumseh, David Watson (Judi) of Flint, Laurie Stephan (Garry) of Norfolk, Virginia, Walter A. "Bud" Cunningham II of Flint and Christopher Cunningham (Tammie) of Lexington; and his grandchildren, Matthew (Blair) of Dustin, C. J., Daniel (Bentley), Hannah (Shavonne), Savanah, Jonah, Keagan, Will and Rhys. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Plumb-Smith Funeral Home (G1208 N Ballenger Hwy, Flint, MI 48504). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
