With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilbert Smith of Lexington, South Carolina, who passed away on July 21, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Smith and Essie Mae Smith; his wife Dorothea Read Smith; his siblings, Lola Mae Smith, Mary Smith Wingard, James, Julius, Thomas, Gene and Johnny; and his siblings-in-law, Sybil Smith, Edward Steele, Arthur Wingard and Cook.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Dawn Ramer and Robin McQuinn; his grandchildren, Angie Kruger (Jeff), Ashley Dooley (Christopher), Barbara Bouknight (Daniel) and Stanley Martin (Kayla); his great grandchildren, Brandon Kruger, Ian Kruger, Dylan Fleming, Connor Reid Dooley, Jacob Matthew Dooley of Izzie Bouknight, L. J, Martin, Ava Martin and Luna Martin; his sisters, Ola Mae Steele and Faye Cook; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Smith, Carol Smith, Ellen Smith and Donna Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
