He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Buist Dunovant and Marie Slaughter Dunovant; and his brothers, Raymond Buist Dunovant, Jr. (Buddy) and James Slaughter Dunovant. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Susinski Dunovant; his children, Emma Dunovant (Amy) and William A. Dunovant, Jr. (Will); and his grandchildren, Amelia Dunovant, Davis Dunovant and Luke Dunovant (Sadie Belle) of Lexington. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
