He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Lee Heddy; his son Douglas Reginald "Reggie" Heddy; and his nephew Andrew Todd Heddy. He is survived by: his sons, William Russell "Russ" Heddy (Allison) and Charles "Randy" Heddy (Nikki); his grandchildren, Lauren Heddy, Jacob Heddy, Brandon Heddy and Bryan Heddy (Kayla); his great grandchildren, Emmett, Eren and Evie; his brother Andrew P. Heddy, Jr. (Janet); and his niece Amanda Heddy Strong (Cody).
