He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Judson Walling and Lydia Buyck Walling; and his siblings, Jane Yancey, Andrew Walling and Betty Walling.
He is survived by: his sister Lillian Adkins; and his daughters, Kelley Connelly and Tara Vazquez. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren who knew him as their Papaw.
