He is survived by: his daughter Sarah Elizabeth Swittenberg Shuler (Richard) of West Columbia, SC; his cousins, Suzanne Long of Columbia, SC, John Long (Betsy) of Newberry, SC, Nora Plumblee Mature (Roger) of Travelers Rest, SC and Tommy Plumblee (Rosemary) of West Columbia, SC.; his siblings-in-law, Mike Adams (Tammy) and Mary Helen Adams Allen (Mike) of Clover, SC; his sibling's children, DC of Washington, Eli Allen, Adam Allen of Clover, SC and Sydney Adams of Davidson, NC.; his wife Linda; and his grandchildren, Jacob Kessel, Dima Busby, Madison, John Hannon, Everly, Bodie Guffey, Julia and Mia Guffey.
