He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Mathias Sr. and Jeanette Hardman Mathias. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth F. Mathias, MD; his children, Paige P. Mathias and William "Trey" Mathias III; and his daughter-in-law Lyndsey.
