He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Rampey and Louise Day Rampey; his son William P. "Chip" Rampey Jr.; and his granddaughter Rachel Harsey. He is survived by: his wife Frances Davidson Rampey; and his daughters, Catherine Rampey Harsey (Dewitt) and Elizabeth Rampey McMillan (Toby). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
