She is survived by: her close friend Maurice Cook; her children, Christopher Lewie (Lavenia), Byron Lewie and Tyesha Lewie; her siblings, Gerald Lewie, Paul Lewie, Eric Lewie and Chante Lott; her aunts, Josephine Cannon of Batesburg-Leesville, Louise West (Larry) of Batesburg-Leesville, Eva McKiever (Jimmy) of Batesburg-Leesville and Mary Hall of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and her uncle Robert Padgett of Batesburg-Leesville. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
