With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Yvonne Shealy Spires (Lexington, South Carolina), who passed away on October 22, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Sr. Shealy and Virgie Sharpe Shealy; her husband Julius "DJ" Spires; and her siblings, George, Perry, Ansel Shealy and Annis Summer.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Spires (Kay), Alisa Gentry (Ron) and Darlene Richards (Len); and her siblings, John Shealy (Linda), Diane Henderson and Elaine Ray. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Red Bank Baptist Church.
