He is survived by: his wife Linda Merck; his son Jason Merck (Alicia); his stepchildren, Melanie Gillespie (Dale) and Eric Elrod (Kim); his grandchildren, Karly, Kyle, Kaylee and Jace; and his great grandchild Lillie Mae.
