It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Chrisley Jones (Liberty, South Carolina), who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, JW Jones and Carrie Lee Ruppe Jones; and his siblings, Estelle Smith, Pauline Jones, Irene Dodgens, Christine Smith and Boyce Jones.
He is survived by: his siblings, Raymond Jones, June Galloway and Viola Tate; his niece Evelyn Smith; and his close friends, Bennie and Sherry Chapman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Liberty Mortuary (30 S Palmetto St, Liberty, SC 29657). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at the Liberty Memorial Gardens (254 Alta Vista Dr, Liberty, SC 29657).
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Ruhamah Baptist Church, 1610 Red Barn Road, Liberty SC 29657.
