We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2025, at the age of 91, Josie Smith Farmer (Liberty, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Junior Farmer; her parents, Frank Smith and Azalee Adcox; her sister JoAnn Patterson; and her granddaughter Kasey Lee Patterson.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Karr (Russell), Karen Patterson (Danny) and Craig Farmer (Jenny); her daughter-in-law Tracey Farmer; her sisters, Nancy Bagwell (Joe) of Liberty, SC and Betty Sue Altman of Kingstree, SC.; her grandchildren, Matthew Patterson (Brooke), Haley Karr, Kayla Hunt (Blake), Carly Cagle (Jacob), Zach Farmer and Madison Farmer; and her great grandchildren, Claire, Korbin, Kallen, Everett and Veda Lee.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Liberty Memorial Gardens (254 Alta Vista Dr, Liberty, SC 29657). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the same location.
