It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon Kay Jr. (Liberty, South Carolina), born in Pendleton, South Carolina, who passed away on March 24, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Leon Kay, Sr. and Ruby Lee Stone Kay. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Griffith Kay; his daughters, Kimberly Kay Cheslak (Tim) of Anderson and Karen Jones (Eddie) of Williamston; his sister Donna Kay Owings of Greer; his grandchildren, Nikki Horne, Sammy Horne, Jr., Brandon Jones (Mackenzie) and Anthony Cheslak (Michaela); and his great grandchildren, Savana, Nate, Jaxon, Joshua, Wade and Wilder.
