He is survived by: his mother Martha Godfrey Church; his wife Elizabeth Church; his children, Katlyn Hedrick (Gary) and Sidney Church, Jr. (Christine); his stepchildren, Sally Hall and Jason Turner; his siblings, Bryan Church (Brenda), Phil Church (Cathy), Cynthia "Sally" Lark (Jerry), Tammy White (Bill) and Sheryl Lane; and his grandchildren, Natalie, Lathan, Jase of Anastyn, M. J., Harleigh and Evert.
