We announce the death of Diane Edgins of Little Mountain, South Carolina, who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 68. Diane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Franklin and Dorothy Elizabeth Hill; and her boyfriend Calvin. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Hook (Michael) of Little Mountain, Cindy Sutton (Jody) of Little Mountain, Amanda Edgins (Stacy) of Pomaria and Allen Hill (Kasey) of Little Mountain; her grandchildren, Brittany Proctor (Casey), Mason, Bailey Hook, Camron, Caden, Clayton Lindler, Ann Marie, Mary Sue, Jojo, Tyler, Annissa and Kody Hill; her great grandchildren, Brelon of Riley, C. J., Viola, Autumn Marie, Waylon and Maisie; her sisters, Shelby Hazel (Larry) of Newberry, Karen Gillion (David) of Newberry and Alice Breed (Alvin) of Panama City, Florida; her pet Ernie; and her sister Joanne Hill. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McSwain-Evans Funeral Home Chapel (1724 Main St, Newberry, SC 29108). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
