It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn P Sutton (Little River, South Carolina), who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Carolyn has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mettie Hughes Price and Otis Bernard Price; and her brother Ray Bernard Price. She is survived by: her husband Lieutenant Jack D; her sons, Jack D. "Jay" Sutton Jr. (Karen) and Joseph M. "Joey" Sutton; her granddaughter Ainsley; and her sister Jane Price Cooper. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
