He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L., Sr. and Blanche B. Wortz (Guyer); his son Michael Wortz; his son-in-law Donald Alston; his brother Bryant Wortz; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Wortz.
He is survived by: his wife W. Dianne Wortz (Wishard); his children, Leslie Alston of Sunset Beach, NC, Connie Capacchione (Glenn) of Flintstone, MD, Dawn Monn (Douglas) of Waynesboro and Vicki Moore (John) of Sunset Beach, NC; his grandchildren, Ryan Moore, Steven Moore, Stephanie Moore, Samantha Shank and Sarah Cunningham; and his great grandchildren, Madison Moore, Lyla Moore, Stella Shank, Quinn Shank, River Shank and Lennon Capacchione. He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as a host of extended family.
