He was predeceased by: his parents, Hezakiah Pilkinton and Jessie Pilkinton. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Jones Pilkinton of Little River, SC; his children, Crystal P. Church (Chris) of Lenoir and Jonathan Wilson (Jackie Davis) of Eden, NC; his grandsons, Lucas Wilson of Eden, NC. and Belial Johnson of Eden, NC.; his siblings, Brenda Pilkinton of Hildebran, NC, Debra White of Whiteville, NC, Rosa Brown (Jimmy) of Lenoir and Daniel Pilkinton (Stephanie) of Maryville, TN.; and his pets, Petey and Mickey. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM and on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM. The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Pendry's Funeral Home (522 Wilkesboro Blvd NE, Lenoir, NC 28645).
