She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Nealy and Dessie Nealy; her husband Johnny Jones; her son John Paul Downer, Jr.; and her siblings, Esther Tharp, Joanne Jorge, Tommy Nealy and Ray Norris.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Downer (Kathy), Brenda Fox (John) and Serina Taylor (Bob); and her sister Irene Covington. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
