He is survived by : his wife Margaret "Peggy" Hovorka Salling; his children, Shawn Adrian (Beyelle) and Katie Johnson; his sister Birgette Schmidt; his grandchildren, Jenici, Joya, Briar, Eli and Skylar; and his niece Pernille Ohrstorm (Marley).
