With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Freddie W. Shumaker of Little River, South Carolina, born in Summerton, South Carolina, who passed away on November 11, 2022 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, A. D. Shumaker and Tallulah Way Shumaker; and his sister Joan Jones of Clayton. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Shumaker; his brother Allen Shumaker (Hazel) of Columbia; his stepchildren, Nicholas Dodson (Tabitha) of Gainesville, Georgia and Brandon Dodson (Kaylen) of Charleston; and his stepgrandchildren, Mason and Eliza Dodson of Charleston.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children (2900 Rocky Point Drive Tampa, FL 33607 US).
