He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Girling and Patricia Girling; and his wife Joyce G. Girling. He is survived by: his children, Stuart Girling, Joanna Girling, Matthew Girling (Liz) and Emmi Clegg (Matt); his stepsons, Randy Roberts (Mandie) and Chad Roberts (Brooke); and his brother Colin Girling. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
Geoffrey and Joyce's love for each other was unwavering and the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in their honor and remembrance.
