He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Coleman, Sr. and Mary Ruth Griggs Coleman; and his sister Linda Coleman Jenkins. He is survived by: his wife Kitty Grainger Coleman of Little River, SC; and his stepson Carson Casoli of Columbia, SC. He is also survived by nephew and a niece; many extended family members; and many close friends.
