He was predeceased by : his wife Antoinette Cassano; his parents, Josephine Cassano and Rocco Cassano; and his brother Vito Cassano. He is survived by : his children, Brian Cassano, Stacy Brady (FL), Renee Ollerenshaw (Jeff Ollerenshaw) and Donna Poust (Richard Poust); his siblings, Lorraine Guzzo and Richie Cassano; his close friend Ruth MacDonald; and his grandchildren, Adam, Jacob, Melissa, Elizabeth, Ginalyse and Dustin.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Shriners Hospital or St. Judes Children's Hospital.
