He is survived by: his parents, Rick Comfort and Karen Comfort (Kornikowski) of Cherry Grove, SC; his brothers, Craig Comfort of Houston, TX and David Comfort of Franklin, MA.; his aunt Jan Comfort of Sunset Beach, NC; his uncle Michael Kornikowski of Orlando, FL; his great-aunt Lilian Banks; his great-uncle Jim; and his aunt Nancy Burk. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, plus an extensive extended family.
