He is survived by: his wife Trudi (Finch); his son Russell Simroth (Kate); his stepsons, Derrick Grimes (Amy) and Dustin Grimes (Laura) of Illinois; his sisters, Cathy Walker and Susan Wilson; his parents, Anne and Carl; his brother Mike; and his close friend Benny Newton.
