She was predeceased by: her parents, Carnie Oliver and Bonnie Sexton Oliver; her husband W. Allen Adams; her brothers, Maurice (Joyce), Brantley Oliver (Rosalind) and Boston; and her pet Bandit.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Thorburn, Theresa Adams (Arthur Plourde) and Michael Adams (Connie); her sister Ida June Toppin (Earl); her grandchildren, Keith Thorburn (Yvonne French), Rebecca Plourde, Hilary Adams, Kenton Plourde (Vidhi), Matthew Adams (Sarah) and Alison Plourde (Mark); and her great grandchildren, Willow, Sean, Aria, Russell, Harper, Ramona and Lawson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
