She was predeceased by: her parents, Trenton Ginn and Lorena B. Ginn; her brother William "Bill" Ginn; her sister-in-law Betty Ginn; her sister Margie Ginn Huffstetler; and her nephew Mark Huffstetler.
She is survived by: her sons, Trenton LeDon "Donny" Bates (Teresa) of York, SC and Jimmy Dewayne Bates (Janet); her granddaughters, Ashley Bates-Dial, Austine Bates Vernon (Travis) and Danielle Bates Barreto (Luis); her great grandchildren, Emma Bates Hernandez (Aiden), Madelyn Vernon and McKenna Vernon; her great great grandchild Lucas Hernandez; her sister Shirley Ginn McGinnis; and her nieces, Pam Huffstetler Hartis (Ken), Teresa McGinnis and Laura Huffstetler.
