She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Gilhooly and Anne Gilhooly; and her husband Arthur Merrick. She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Furlong (Patrick) and Patricia Turbitt (Patrick); her grandchildren, Emily Furlong and Matthew Turbitt; her sister-in-law Joy Merrick Vogel; and her sibling's children, Brenda Rizea (Alex, family: Christina Merrick Wright, Cathleen Merrick) and James Merrick (Denise).
