We are sad to announce that, on May 4, 2026, at the age of 73, Rhonda Jean Wharton (Little River, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Rhonda may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rhonda touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George Norman and Betty Powell Norman; her husband Allen Wharton; her children, Curtis and Melanie; her stepdaughter Brandy; her grandson Oliver; and her sisters, Carol, Cynthia and Martha.
