He is survived by: his wife Janet Schuster; his children, Sheryl (Todd), Greg (Wenying) and Jeff (Kathy); his grandchildren, Hunter, Alexis, Alan, Adam, Brooke and Tyler; and his brother Chuck (Betty).
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church (5105 Ocean Hwy W, Shallotte, NC 28470).
