He is survived by: his wife Gail Griffin; his sons, Thomas Duane Griffin, Thad Griffin and Shawn Griffin (Nickie); his grandchildren, Xavier Griffin (Nicole), Zoe Griffin (Logan), Greyson Griffin, Noah Griffin, Nash Griffin (Kelsey) and Zane Griffin; his stepgrandchildren, Forrest Eddy and Sophie Eddy; his great grandchildren, Xaiden Griffin, Leo Griffin, Lincoln Griffin and Hayes Griffin; his stepgreat-grandchild Zendayia; and his friends, Nikki Eddy, Logan Helquist and Courtenay.

In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Promedica Hospice or North Myrtle Beach Christian School.
