We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2024, at the age of 87, Wilbur Michael Barksdale of Little River, South Carolina, born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Wilbur Barksdale and Annie Mae Barksdale; his brother Doyle Barksdale; and his pets, Coco and Molly.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara Cooper Barksdale; and his children, Michael Barksdale (Karen), David Barksdale (Jennifer), Steven Barksdale (Anais), Melissa Salem (Mike), Jackie Todd (Joey) and Jim Graham. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cave Spring Baptist Church, 4873 Brambleton Ave, Roanoke, VA 24018.
