It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Cody Hawkins of Long Creek, South Carolina, born in Jackson, Mississippi, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his sister Ashley Kaitlin Hawkins; and his grandparents, Wayne Mullen and Connie Holman. He is survived by : his parents, Aaron Hawkins and Monica Mullen Hawkins; his grandmother Jean Hawkins of Ocean Springs; his sister Amanda Kumar of Brandon; his aunts, Angela Palazzolo (Joseph) and Julie Kelley; and his uncle Cody Mullen (Lindsey).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service (4817 Commerce St, Grenada, MS 38901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
