He was predeceased by: his parents, John McGovern and Catherine Smith McGovern. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Jennifer King (Sean) and Christopher McGovern (Shelle); his grandchildren, Kyler, Cooper and Liam; and his sister Mary Jane Davis (Tim).
