Carter (Lisa) of Loris; his granddaughters, Michelle Russell of Atlanta, GA, Kinsey Carter of Simpsonville, SC and Lauren Carter of Charleston, SC; and his brother Michael Carter (Beverly) of Tabor City, NC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Leon Baptist Church (9801 SC-905, Longs, SC 29568). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
