She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henry Cockrell and Janie Elizabeth Maffett Cockrell; her spouse Thomas Oscar Perry; her grandson Jeremy Scott Rogers; and her son-in-law Stephen "Rusty" Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, John Oscar Perry (Pam) of Saluda, Rose Mary Rogers of Saluda and Virgie Langford (Skip) of Batesburg; her brother Thomas Cockrell (Marie) of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Stephen Rogers, Jr., Sam Perry, Ashley Langford, Brandi Hallman, Joshua Rogers and Brian Langford; her close friend Earl Berry; her sister Brenda Tucker; her aunt Uschi Maffett; and her siblings' children, Charlsey Williams, Justin Cockrell (Nikki Foster), Dusty Cockrell (Courtney) and Patrick Cockrell (Kendall Davis). She is also survived by several great nephews, and numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Emmanuel Church (793 Columbia Hwy, Saluda, SC 29138). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
