He was predeceased by: his parents, James Earl and Margaret Ruth Osborne Williams; his siblings, James Earl "Corky" Williams and Mary Ruth Adkins (Rulon); his son Hal Ball; his grandsons, Kristopher Ball and Anthony Ball; and his nephew Rulon Lee Adkins.
He is survived by: his wife Minda Williams; his children, Ricky Ball (Carrie), Melanie Williams and Angie Aguirre (Kirk); his grandchildren, Cliff Ball (Julie), Danyale Miller (David), J. D. Canterbury (Chelsea), Britta Pack (Justin) and Morgan Aguirre; and his granddaughter-in-law Chelsea Ball. He is also survived by great grandchildren and other family members.
In lieu of flowers, Dick wished to continue his legacy of helping others, he wanted donations to be sent to the Logan Shrine Club P. O. Box 1472 Logan, WV 25601.
