He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Woodrow Smith and Katie Elizabeth Cobb Fargis; and his brothers, Steve Smith and Tom Smith. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Lopizzo Smith; his children, Chris Smith (Leah), Dale Smith, Zane Smith (Michele) and Shannon Smith; his grandchildren, Madelaine, Tabitha, Morgan, Campbell, Cooper Smith and Devon Holland; and his brothers, Bobby Smith (Yvonne), David Smith (Colleen) and James Smith.
