With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Faye Harrelson Tyler (Loris, South Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2026 at the age of 86. She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Allen Harrelson and Valley Vernell Moody Harrelson; her husband Hoyt Elwood Tyler; and her brothers, J. W. Harrelson, Boyd Allen Harrelson and Freddie Harrelson.
She is survived by: her children, Emory Stephens (Amanda), Barbara Nell Howard (Gary), Teresa Suddreth (Mike) and Mary Darlene Rogers; her grandchildren, John Stephens (Whitney), Matt Stephens (Megan), Meredith Grier (Andrew), Vangie Thigpen, Vanessa Smith and Lance Rogers; her great grandchild Kristin Jackson; her sisters-in-law, Peggy Harrelson and Nancy Harrelson; and her pet Luke. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
The family requests that memorials be made to Cane Branch Baptist Church, 760 Cane Branch Rd., Loris, SC 29569.
