She was predeceased by : her parents, Ben Tarpley Jones and Alma Lynn Jones; her husband Norwood Gleaton Hardee; her brother Lloyd Bynum; and her nephew James Jones.

She is survived by : her children, Wanda H. Kelly (Richard) of Lexington, SC, Lisa H. Jakobsen (Allan) of Front Royal, VA and Mel Hardee of Holly Hill, SC; her grandchildren, Tina Spence, Richard Lanier, Elsa Jakobsen and Luke Jakobsen; her great grandchildren, Cole Spence and Percy Jakobsen; and her brother Charles R. Jones (Gail) of Abbeville, AL.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Twin City Memorial Gardens (1830 US-701 Hwy, Loris, SC 29569).
