Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Eric leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his father Vance Homer Slate Jr.; his grandparents, Edith Wyrick and Jonah Wyrick (Jim); and his close friend Leslie Todd. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Sue Slate; his brother Robert Dean Slate; and his pet BooBoo. He is also survived by his cousins, aunts.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the North Myrtle Beach Humane Society.
