He was predeceased by: his parents, Spurgeon Suggs and Leona Leigh Suggs; his son Josh Suggs; and his brother Earl Suggs. He is survived by: his wife Donna Suggs; his children, Ernest "Kevin" Suggs, Jr. (Kim), Tonya Wells (Sean Puskac) and April Suggs Sims (Craig); and his grandchildren, Christian Soles (Tyler), Kain Fowler (Leah), Ernest Kevin Suggs III (Morgan), Cameron Wells (Mary), Amber Suggs, Tripp Fowler, Ethan Wells, Christian Greene (Sarah), Lexi Suggs and Kali Sims. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hardwick Funeral Home (4831 Main St, Loris, SC 29569). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Leon Baptist Church (9801 SC-905, Longs, SC 29568).
