She was predeceased by : her parents, Mary Frances Elliott Porter and Lacy Layton Porter; her brothers, Lloyd Larue Porter and Eugene Edwards Porter; and her husband Ben Elbe.
She is survived by : her sister Mildred Streeper of Visalia, CA; her daughters, Lynne Faulk (Chris Banks) of Finchingfield, Betty Hastings (Michael) of Winston-Salem, NC and Jeanie Pressley (Tony) of Linwood, NC.; and her grandchildren, Peyton Levin, Kirby Hastings, Cassandra Hastings of Winston-Salem and Travis Clark (Jessica) of Raleigh.
