He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Noah Tapers McClellan and Velma Coates McClellan; wife: Linda Todd McClellan; son: Dennis James McClellan (Frances); step-grandchildren: Jacqueline Veliz (Oscar) and Brittanie Sarwan (Michael); step-great-grandchildren: Alexus Veliz, Brendon Veliz, Madyson Sarwan and Layla Sarwan; god-grandchildren: Kendell Johnson and Brooke Hart; sisters: Josephine Thomas and Mitchel Keadle (Wendell); caregivers: Rhonda Ali, Stephanie Martin and Tara Harrelson Mullins (Mark); predeceased siblings: Wendell McClellan (Christine), Bessie Mae McClellan Fields and Lillie Thompson (Kermit); other: Pastor Pete Johnson and Rev. David Watts; and many close friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church (2360 Red Bluff Rd, Loris, SC 29569). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
