He was predeceased by : his parents, Thurman McKinley Harris and Lee Tyler Harris; his wife Wilma Edwards Harris; his children, Steven Levon Harris and Wilma Michelle Harris; and his siblings, Floyd Harris, Claude Harris, Roberta Harris Gerald, Ila May Harris, Nelda Faye Harris, Ernestine Williams and Allene Hardee.

He is survived by : his son Glenn Edward Harris; his grandchildren, Kayla Wiggins (Kevin), Kaitlin Nealey (Jonny), Jessica Anderson (Jamie), Cody Nealey, Eliza Santiago (Aiden) and Evan Harris (Anna); his great grandchildren, Elena, Braylon, Bryson, Embri, Eli, Luke, Tatum, Stella and Josie; and his pets, Roscoe and Shorty.
