He was predeceased by: his parents, Hosea C. Cook and Mabel Porter Cook; his wife Linda Faye Cox Cook; his son Lloyd Darren Cook; his granddaughters, Brook LeAnne Cook and Alexis Nicole Cook; and his brothers, James Henry Cook and Jason Devon Cook.
He is survived by: his daughter Dana Cook Faircloth (Chris); his adoptive daughter Emilee Cook; his grandchildren, Hannah Lewis, Kierstin Faircloth Cribb and Courtney Cook; his great grandchildren, Ethan Cook, Kaylee Faircloth, Karson Lewis, Kaydyn Lewis, Sophia Brown, Princeston Cook, Zaccheaus Cook, Brooklynn Benson and Elizabeth "Tater" Cribb; and his sisters, Wilma Kay (Ian), Thelma Herring (Roy) and Edna Cook.
